Whether you have acquired an online prescription or from an onsite clinic, consume the medication as it is prescribed. Follow all the directions from the prescription label and never consume the medications in any other amounts or durations as recommended. Swallow the capsule without chewing or crushing it. You may open the capsule and sprinkle the medication onto a small portion of applesauce if you are having a hard time swallowing it. Swallow the mixture completely without chewing and don’t save it for use later. Your blood pressure will have to be checked often to determine whether you are feeling any irregular heartbeats or blood flow in the body.
Note: Generally, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks before the symptoms start to improve. Never stop taking the medication until approved by your doctor
Consult with your doctor before taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for arthritis, fever, swelling, or pain. This includes aspirin, celecoxib (Celebrex), diclofenac, ibuprofren (Advil, Motrin), indomethacin, and meloxicam among others. Using NSAIDs with Venlafaxine may lead to excessive bleeding. Avoid consuming alcohol while on the medication, as it will only aggravate the side effects.
Consume the dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose and then set your dosage based on the time you took your next dose. Never take extra medication to make up for a missed dose.
